SPEAKING IN PROFESSION

"Communication works for those who work at it."

Speaking is one of the best possible ways to promote your business. Do you know why?

There are bunch of reasons.

One is that a live audience is a captive audience that they very rarely walk out, unless you are dreadful, so they have to listen to your message all the way through, whereas with email, direct mail and social media, they may never even see your message, never mind get to the end of it.

Secondly, it's a superb way to engage with people. There is nothing that beats chemistry in this world. And you can
create that chemistry and demonstrate your expertise at the same time by telling great stories and giving examples of ways your service and product has worked out there in the world. And most importantly answering people' questions and objections out there on the spot when you are speaking. It's also a low cost marketing tool, it takes some of your time to prepare and to go out and speak but why wouldn't you want to be face to face with your customers. It's a perfect opportunity to learn more about them in order to create further products and services that meet their needs.

So have it convinced you to speak? Let us tell you how we see as the four P's that will make Speaking work for you.

The first thing to make sure you demonstrate is Passion. If you don't believe in what you are offering, why should they? Then before you get up to speak, think about product. What do you want them to do next? There is no point in getting them to fall in love with you and then not having a next step. Be clear on what you can offer them and then offer just that and nothing else. Don't be greedy.

Next, you want to make sure you are speaking before right People. Don't beat yourself up is you do a great speech and no one buys if you were speaking to the wrong audience. Define your ideal client and find out where they gather, them go and speak to them.

Now your Presentation has to be top notch too. Make sure you understand some of the fundamentals of speech writing and have a great structure that allows you to promote your product in a non-sales way.

Finally, Personality, we suggest you to have one. That defines all you and what you are!
